I had/ have what I would describe as a beautiful set of bow cushions made for my 1974 20Ft cc SF last March. I had it hinged so you can access the fishbox easily. I did it by simply getting some roofing paper from Home Depot and laying it down on the casting deck, then running the edge with a magic marker to make the template. My wife loves them and makes the front very relaxing and user friendly for those afternoon cruises or just lying in the sun.
If you will PM me I will send you pictures and if you are interested give you the name of the Marine canvas co. here on Cape Cod that did the work. All first class using Sunbrella etc.) The fellow was offering a 10% discount to other CSC members who came along.

let me know.

can you pass along the name of the guy on cape? I am looking for some new CC curtains/glass myself. The local guy in Orleans while good, seems pricey, who did my cushions.

The fellow I used for the canvas work on the cushions is:

Geoff Cabral
GSC Marine out of Areys Pond Boatyard (S. Orleans)
I don't think he does any glass windshield work though.
He does the high quality marine canvas fabricating for Areys Ponds Boats (high end)
774-772-4973
geoffrey@gscmarine.com

gscmarine.com

Last year he offered a 10% discount to other CSC customers that came along.

I think I know who you went to in Orleans (probably Ocean Tailors) and they WERE CRAZY much too expensive. GSC is very reasonable

Nice work, Mike. Can you do them with piping?
