Thinking of options for my 74 Seafari which is about to get a rebuilt transom for a 90 HP 2 stroke.
Possibility of adding boxes to the transom to provide: a. flotation b. 2' additional variable deadrise running surface c. storage in upper half for fenders, life jackets, other lightweight stuff. d. Super cool looking totally unique and rarest of the rare 22' Seafari! Inspired by pics of the Fibercraft Flats Boat: Steve

Might make it a bit higher to be able to cover outboard; kind of like a semi motor well, reducing noise and providing a nice casting platform....
Check out the Atkin Ninigret; the boat that really got me thinking about outboard wells: Steve

That might be almost as rare as Skip & Carla's 21' Seafari!

If I go 22', a la Spinal Tap, " Well, it's one better'
Did Skip & Carla ever put that 21 Seafari together? When I had the 23 Sceptre and the 20 Seafari here, man I was tempted to make a 23 Seafari! This might be a kind of second chance kind of..... maybe better...... Steve
