This could be long but I'm just venting. After going thru this boat and redoing pretty much everything and repowering ,several people decided not to pay me. Panicking I put my boat up for sale. I wish I had not acted so swiftly but I did. This situation stressed me out quite a bit but after all the telephone calls and me losing my temper I realized that's just another part of business. Instead I rolled up my sleeves and put my feet a little deeper in the dirt. Really I met new people and gained wisdom which I did not have. I'm not selling my boat. Now, to another subject. Why in the world is health insurance so freaking high? When I go to the doctor I pay cash. It's usually a 1/3 of what it would be with insurance. But if I make more money than my neighbor thru obamacare I have to pay more then he does. He gets up at 10am and I'm leaving at 5am. Total BS.

Jeffro, Walk it off Brother. A suspicious person might think that they are out to penalize the risk takers, providers and those who seek independence from government intrusion, but we know better. Just another slight course correction in our countries history by the current administartion. A few more degrees on the compass - in the past 7 years, it's funny you would even notice. 7 States have more people on Welfare than are working - it pays really well to F.O. The problem is they can't keep this program up without guys like you out bust'in their ass so the other can sit on theirs! So quit lally-gag'in around and put your Red Wings on, your shoulder to the wheel, your nose to the grinding stone and work, work, work, so those who don't, can get by easily. Distribution of Wealth - if you don't have any, then get out there and make some - they'er waiting on you.

Never figured out the part where just being born, being lazy, being uneducated, and being stupid automatically affords you free food, housing, health care, etc. God bless my parents because this not the way we lived or were raised.

Next question....what happens to America when there are more takers than givers??

if you want to hear an opinion on this :

the progressive/liberal wing of the united states government is totally responsible for this - immigration,welfare,etc.i recently found something out - if you're an alcoholic or a drug addict,you're eligible for disability,hard to believe huh ? to get to my shop - I have to drive past the welfare office - every day people are standing out there,in line,waiting to get in - smoking cigs and talking/playing with their I phones,waiting to get their share of the free money,given to them from our government.

the country needs to be ran as a business,these people don't get that - it's both sides on that one."both sides" being both republican and democrats.government is out of control,the spending is insane - the recent iran deal is proof of that.

this country is in big trouble ! more and more people are collecting some form of assistance,given by us the tax payers - and yes,what does happen when more people are collecting than paying ?

I think some of these reports are a bit misleading when they include people on Social Security (retirees), Medicare, unemployment and veterans benefits as "welfare". That being said my entire neighborhood seems to be "disabled".

It's really sad to see these statistics.

I think stats can be made to say about anything.

I know those who can best afford the goods and services provided by our small venture are the most likely to not pay. Perhaps there is some connection between screwing people and getting rich. Anecdotes prove nothing but it can definitely form an opinion.
