While the deck is off....all old foam removed and inside of hull/bilge area cleaned up......Should I put a coat of bilge paint down just to seal everything a bit or even just a coat of resin down or im I over thinking this?

That is one on my list. I didn’t address that until I put it back together. I wish I had painted everything that wasn’t a mating surface. Especially after spending $200 for a 2 gallon Sherwin Williams Tile Clad HS kit. Awesome stuff though. I think a lot of guys would endorse the product.

Definitely do it before, way easier. Gelcoat works great for this too...

Easy to do before the deck goes back on. I used total boat bilge paint and was not impressed. I'd use the tile clad next time or gel coat.
