Default Question on hydraulic steering

So Saturday when I went out I had a issue with my steering. It would work somewhat but it was soft and would not stay straight and if you would not constantly steer to the right but would go left. I bought some fluid and the hose and tried to bleed it out but with limited knowledge, tools and being in the water it stayed the same.

I did google some info the shows how to connect various hoses on a t connector it get the air out.
My question is the following.....is bleeding the air our fix the system or do I have a new or rebuild of the ram coming up?
