Help !!!
I recently put a deposit on a boat in Stuart Florida that was advertised as a 1973 23 foot "Seacraft". After doing some research come to find out that it actually is a 1975 "Spacecraft" which is were my brain must have been when I sent the lady the deposit. My question is does anyone know anything about this company. I was told by the second owner of this boat that Spacecraft actually bought an old Seacraft mold and then made them at their florida factory. Does anyone know anything about this company and if info this is true. The link to the pic of the boat is http://www.casdvm.com/photos/23seacraft.jpg
Thanks in advance Chuck Strickland

Re: Help !!!
Nahhh - no one bought a seacraft mold and "thought" they made seacraft molds. The seacraft is very distinct, the hull was pattented (long since expired) and many builders have copied the hulls: Sailfish/ Silverhawk/ Key Largo / Strike / CC Marine and a lot of others. The "Spacecraft" was never a sea craft mold and if someone told you so they have their facts screwed up or are just pulling your leg. I would sincerely recommend you get your deposit back and start fresh. How much did you settle for on the boat?
What are you looking to buy and why? Seacrafts do occasionally become available on the west coast. They are rare but it does happen. How much were you trying to spend.
