Question for you northeast guys
Any of yall run a heater- i got a nice one for a great price, new that runs just like a car heater off of my freshwater cooling system. 3 speed fan. I cant really find anywhere to flush mount it as it is rather large so I am thinking I can put it on the shelf behind the louvered/mines not louvered door and cut out and install a vent panel. Im building a new enclosure so I hope to be toasty when cruising the coast in January and February. Any of y'all done the same??? Craig
I support heat in a center console theory!!!

Re: Question for you northeast guys
Miles... I made one just like what your taking about for my old Starcraft cuddy.. Worked great, ran off of the 110hp I/o cooling system.. I put it in the cuddy and it was nice on those cold fall days striper fishing in the Del Bay. Sounds like it would work.. Maybe you can mount it where you have space and duck it with vent hose to the console..

Re: Question for you northeast guys
I wish I was lucky enough to be able to run a heater. I have to pile on the layers of clothes.
Funny thing is, no matter what the temp. is outside, an ice cold Miller Lite always hits the spot!!

Hey Brian
"Miller Time" would be a good name for your boat

Re: Question for you northeast guys
I thought about that but was concerned that it might attract too much attention....especially once my wife gave me a beer flag to fly from my riggers!!
So, I went w/ "Sir Reel" for the dual meaning effect. Main Entry: sur·re·al Pronunciation: s&-'rE(-&)l, -'ri-&l also -'rA-&l Function: adjective Etymology: back-formation from surrealism Date: 1937 1 : having the intense irrational reality of a dream 2 : SURREALISTIC - sur·re·al·ly adverb I think it's kind of cool. Capt. I sponsor changed His Boats name from "Miller Killer' to "Miller Time" When He went from the Tourny/Personel trail to Chartering ! Something to do with Peoples "THINKING" ? I wonder if He ever got Consent / Blessins from Posiedon to do This ? No Bad Luck Yet !
