Default Faux wood dash

My '78 23' cc had a badly faded fake wood dash on my superconsole. Nothing I tried would bring back it's color. That was until one day I was cleaning my aluminum radar arch and accidently dripped some Rupp Aluminum cleaner on it. When I tried to wipe it off, the fake wood grain came up like new. Needless to say, I sprayed it on the rest of the original fake wood dash. That was at least 6 months ago and it still looks very good. Hope this helps out someone.
