Default Black Drum

Just came in a bit ago with this behemoth black drum. We were bass fishing when I hooked up with it. I won't have an official weight until tomorrow, but I am guessing somewhere around 100lbs.

The 2006 All-Tackle record is 113 lbs, 1 oz so I suggest you have it weighed on an IGFA certified scale ASAP just in case!

Nice fish! Pick up some extra lead sinkers and go get it weighed!

Man I thought for sure I had some sort of local record beat. I would have sworn it felt more than 105lbs last night. I had it weighed this morning and it was 69.4, they usually loose 5% sitting overnight so it was around 75lbs.

I have my doubts about the edibility of it, the meat was dark and red. I have some neighbors that are going to try it.
