Some seacraft owners might be interested in my modification.Replaced 350 gm inboard, tunnel hull 23ft,r with 30"suz.225.Cut transom at29" to top of tunnel.Test ran and had no cavatation. She runs nice and flat. Had to change prop. only turned 4600, I used to be a seacraft dealer when they started. Great boat.

On a bracket or the orignal transom?
Why go to a $12,000 outboard and not stick with the $5,000 inboard power plant? |

Used the original transom for this mod.I reinforced the transom with plywood lots of mat roving and a knee.My basis for such a radical change was lack of room on deck. Now the boat is open and perfect for fishing.I catch large blue fin tuna, well sometime.

Will try to post some pic,s. Real busy at present. Believe a jack device might work well on the tunnel. I will try raising the engine this fall.
