Default Old School Tuna fishing video - 1940's

No purse seiners, no longlines, no spotter planes, no side scan sonar. Only bamboo rods and live bait. Granted, I don't like to see so many fish taken, but at least they are using rods...

Most tackle shops carry the full-length videos (A tribute to tuna). It is a 2-video set with both parts 1 & 2. In spite of methods somewhat less advanced than what factory ships employ today, it still states they were taking 80 tons per day.

Now that you are a Florida resident over 40 (or was it 50?), have you purchased a leisure suit and white pleather shoes?

Down here, retirees wear walking shorts with black hosiery socks and dress shoes, with the socks held up by garters. Only retirees who live up north wear leisure suits.
