I'm trying to find out what my boat may be worth.it is a 1973 23'CC with the large console, origanally a stern drive it now has a 1994 yamaha 250 outboard on a Armstrong bracket, tandam axle trailer, hardtop with radar, color chartplotter, fishfinder and a full canvas enclosure and bow dodger. It is not a showpeice but it is very solid and in good condition all around condition.located in the northeast.I,m considering selling it and trying to get a ballpark figure on its value.Thankyou

These boats are funny in their valuation. They are like old hot rods. I think it really depeds on the structure of the boat like it's transom and stringers. Also the gas tanks age is a big factor. Just to do those three things to a boat that need it would cost almost ten thousand dollars. I bought my 86 seacraft about two years ago after a survey had been done. The boat had a new tank and engine new trim tabs, hydralic steering and was vey well cared for. All of the wood was immacualte and the leanig post was custom made. It didn't have a t top or fancy electronics but the over all condition of the boat help me make my decision. It also had a newer sea lion trailer. All this for a little over 19K. However in todays market my boat wouldn't even be worth 15K I don't think. But it's not a boat you can just stick a price on either. These boats are exceptional for their size and anyone who wants one knows what they are getting. The best there is!! Good luck with the sale.
