Re: 25 foot seacraft gallery
We all know of one that has "gone missing!" It graced these pages but for a brief fleeting moment and has not been heard of since. The word at the time it was to be going under the knife of an EXPERT surgeon of all things SEACRAFT.
Has ANYONE heard as to the current "health" of this elusive "STEED?" Maybe the resident vet knows of what I so humbly refer?

she is just sitting right now...too many irons in the furnace. I did pull the engine and out drive a while back. It will be a while before I get started on her. Sure love the looks of these 25's in the water! for the longest time we had no good pictures of the 25 seafari and now we have plenty! strick

Re: 25 foot seacraft gallery
I have been told by a very reliable source (owns three 25 Seafaris) that the boat is best left a stern drive due to lack of forward weight. I have been tempted to put a large flotation bracket and twins on mine but I'm still trying to make up my mind. Mr. Potter made a recommendation of a big stern drive diesel or twins on a seamark bracket. If you go with twin outboards then make sure you move the fuel tank as far forward as possible and put the engines as close together on the bracket as possible. The 25 seafari is supposed to have the best ride and have the best sea keeping ability of any seacraft built...this is just what I've been told by Mr Potter and the other reliable informant. Pm me if you want.

Re: 25 foot seacraft gallery
strick, im seriously think that im going to hang a 300 outboard on a floatation bracket... did some research on armstrong brackets and the are supposed to 400 +/- lbs. therefore 3/4 of the engine weight will be floating on the bracket... maybe im thinking down the wrong track? i would think the diesel option would be much heaveir... i currently have a 350 i/o with volvo 280 outdrive i belive the package weighs in the neighborhood of 1200 lbs. so 300 suzuki(604 lbs.) and armstrong bracket( approx. 80 lbs.) seems to be alot less than 1200 lbs... i understand center of gravity will change but am i missing something or am i making it sound better than it should... my .02... i can vouch for the great ride of these boats there has been a few times that i didnt think that i was going to make it home from offshore and the ole seacraft just chugged her way through the slop and found her way home, didnt even foam up my beer...
