Default Good Day Fishing/Catching

Went off shore last Sunday with my neighbor and his son fishing for grouper and snapper. We got a bonus of a 47# Cobia.

We were about 15 miles off shore by the box cars in the Boca Grande area.

Used live bait...Pins and Squirrels. Some 5# snappers that were as big as the Gags.

Cobia 47# neighbor and son.

The Bounty

Grouper and Snapper

All in all a great day on the water.

You can just drop the mangroves off for me - you won't like them...

Nice Catch! I hear red grouper are biten' bare hooks on that same heading 9 or 10 miles out. Good hard bottom area.
