1978 master angler 20
Guys attatched are pics of my 1978 master angler that i just bought back. I bought this boat 12 years ago sold it 5 years ago, and have recently bought it back. I was eighteen when i bought it,,and fished it every weekend for 4 years 20-40 miles offshore. We would fish when it was very rough but i didnt abuse it. Its amazing what this boat will go through at 16-18 mph. Boat was and still is to this day as solid as any new boat you can buy. The boat is not restored except, a built up transom, a paint job, a fuel tank, and a new console. Transom, floor, and hatches are all completly solid. I have my through hull fitting out the transom right now, and there is some moisture there, but its definatly soilid. I do need to replace scuppers, but i will talk about that in a different post. I plan on owning this boat the rest of my life.
I know that at some point i will need to gut and fully restore the boat. At some point stringers will go bad. My question is when should this point be. Do i run it for another 10 years if it stays as solid?? Will i notice if stringers start to go bad?? Kinda makes me nervous running a boat offshore, that is 32 years old, with original guts, but i swear this thing is solid as a rock. |

Sign up for a free Photobucket account. You can upload them, and get the links to insert in your posts here.
So easy, even an old mariner can do it!

Re: 1978 master angler 20
You could just email them to yourself. The pic should have a web address(URL) attached to it under the properties. Copy and paste. Btw if it has a size in the address like small, medium, large you can just change the word in the URL to change size, but that depends on how your email assigns a URL to the pic. It's quick and easy when you get the hang of it. Also you can use up a little less space on you puter. Just an idea
