Roller trailer. Winch Strap and Safety Chain Fail. User Error.
Darn shame but I would be surprised if there is any real damage, other than cosmetic and ego. They are tough boats.

i mean "how" ?

seriously,how ?

a guy i know,he backed his shamrock down the ramp - roller traler,he unhooked the winch cable before backing down the ramp - unloaded it,right on the ramp...

i can't understand the lack of common sense...

for the record:
grady's are far from being "tough boats" - i've cut enough of them apart...

I'm guessing that ramp is somewhere up here due to the grade. So many people think they can unhook the cable/strap and roll down to the water without the boat moving beforehand, especially with a roller trailer. I don't understand the thought process either.

Great Thread!!
I know you guys will come up with plenty more. Here's a couple

"Just a Little More throttle Honey, it will slide right up in Place"

"Oh Shit I forgot to take off the safety chain"

"Yo Homey, should I put the baits out now?"

I thought you said it was a "Drive Thru" ramp

I agree, however if they do it again...........they qualify for the boat launch hall of fame!

Cuban launch: Back down real fast with all cables and lines removed. Slam on brakes at the correct instant. Boat jumps off the trailer into the water just fine. . . . Assuming you hit the brakes at the right time. Add a few pops, a lot of machismo, a little inexperience and the boat ends up on the pavement or the tow vehicle gets wet, very wet.

Common in S Florida.

I went back and looked all around. Turtle? Log? Shark?
