Kicking the idea of selling
Some of you know my boat. 23 Sceptre in restored condition. First I'll say I love the boat. 160 gallons with the etec 150's can go a loooong way. This is good and bad. I live off the SC coast where the typical run is a minimum of 50nm miles. The forecast constantly lies and then you know the rest. I want to move up but I'm uncertain of the market on the older boats. I can say that I've put her thru the paces when I should not have been so far off. ( personal record of 93nm). No craked hull or stringers and built like a tank. I fished with a 28 Grady one weekend and he broke a stringer and other stuff that I was in. It seems the cuddy is the odd man out. I don't see any in my condition. It's kinda like a small sporty in my mind. Dance floor in the back. If the boat gets inspected what are the things they look for? Wiring? Fuel lines? I want it right before I sell it. I can't stand buying someone else's problems. Karma will get you! With no other boats to go by is challenging. No comps. What say you?

Well yeh.........for more comfort a boat in the 90' + range would do it....maybe up to 200'
And as for my outboard motor, correct again - I put an ad out stating Etec 200 HO, not for sale.....should be easy enough to understand. |
