This is a diagram of the space I have on my 20 CC to place a tank under the deck.
tank diagram link - click here The space seems to be very limiting and I could use some suggestions to what to do/what to get. (the problem is the center stringer that runs down the boat) Also, on a light 20 footer, how much fuel is appropriate without throwing the balance off? Please give some suggestions on what to do for a tank. If anyone has placed on in similar spaces, please share your experiences. Thanks |

Mada, that's a belly tank. Go to sptanks.com, and online you can give them your spec's and they'll give you gals. The bottom of the tank has to go on top of the middle stringer. Figure out your spec's from there, or make a cardboard cutout that fits nice.

Yes, but this is what it should look like:
![]() If you go with a belly tank, You might need to put in some other type of bracing or whatever. |

go long. this will allow as much capacity as you want and spread the weight evenly

Than
the dimensions of the diagram not to scale, but the measurements are correct. The bottom stringer is only a fraction of an inch below the beginning of the angled hull. It's a belly shape, but rectangular is probably the only way for me to go. If you guys can share your fuel capacity and $$ spent, that would be great. |
