wish I had the need but I think one of those would sink my 20' (or at least get me a speeding ticket on the water).

John,

I saw the same add over a month ago on Boattraderonline.com. I emailed the guy, but never got a response. Seems too good to be true... but who knows?

looking at the add more closely he says he's in Montreal. The one I saw, exact same wording, was from Queens NY.

Hi John, I checked out the yamahas for sale, Too good to be true sounds about right. I asked the seller a question, I asked him to send some additional pics of the motors and can he provide the serial #'s. He wrote back. and I quote, Hello Marc, I am very sorry but I dont give such information just to anyone. Pretty funny, huh. This guy is full of crap

I think it is too good to be true and beware, there are some major motor scams happening on Ebay. I had not followed up on this one yet but it sounds like the same MO as others, pics on BT later showing up on Ebay in another country. I have dealt with several and reported these to Ebay.... I'll look into it and find out how much of a scam it is...
