Default Recessed Bow Light

Has anyone installed one of the new stainless recessed bow lights on their CC yet? Wondering how large of a hole you need to drill or router.

I put one on mine, it comes with a template and I'm guessing it's about a 2" x 3" hole. Did mine with a jigsaw, then seal the edges with epoxy.

Looks like a clean setup. Thanks for the picture.

BTY, how easy is it to run new wiring up to the light?

Rich
Thanks for the heads up. I actually found that myself the other night and that's what got me thinking, in the first place. Now it's on to wiring, breakers, mast lights, bilge pumps, thru hulls, etc, etc.etc. Rich

I like it, I used the popup cleats and hawsers in the stern, so it makes for a clean setup all around.I had to run the wire up the tower at midship to under the gunnels and then up to the light.

I got a new in the box set of accorn cleats too, off of ebay. I got a real good deal I think, 3 pop up cleats for $90, shipped to my house 3 days later. So keep an eye out for that kind of stuff.
