Finster's Score's Big
Check this out. I just closed the deal on my '78 SeaCraft Seavette. This thing is really cool! It has a 300 Merc on it (apparently in good shape) and a decent trailer. The boat is going to need some work, but not that much. And I think I can bring back the original gel coat.
I talked to Mr.P about last year and he told me he only made 20 of them. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img](it took me that long to put this deal together). I'll try and get some pic's up tomorrow. Cheers.

Wait a minute Otto, that doesn't look like any SeaCraft I have ever seen. I checked the specs on the Seavette and that photo is not a 23'Seavette! Somethings not right? [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

PF_Flyer, yeah their both cool boats. I will have pic's up of the vette tomorrow.
As for the CustomCraft, thats the second one we have. The first one was my first boat when I was 10 [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] and my 72 year old mother has been restoring it and taking it to boat antique shows. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] The one Otto picked up today is cherry. Scott is coming over tomorrow to check out the vette, and with a little help him, Otto and others we may, and I do say may get it splashed for next weeks gathering. I haven't gotten into the mechanic's of the boat yet, but from what I can see so far today it could be possible.

And what a “score” it is !!! Its amazing to stand at the helm and look forward … the boat feels so much more than 23’  What a behemoth this thing is !!! We were amazed at how quickly and relatively painlessly this monster fired up ….and did she roar !!! Cant wait to see / hear (along with the rest of the neighborhood ) what she sounds like in the water   These pictures were prior to us getting serious [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]… notice no tools and No BEER … Man “you gots” some good neighbors … How many did the fire-up draw .. 6- 7 ?? Like Pat said …. BEER and ETHER and It's all good…. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
