Great boat, essentially a knockoff of the SC23 hull. A friend of mine has one with a 300hp MerCruiser w/Bravo III drive and it rides just as well as an SC. IMO, build quality seems much better than the newer SCs, so this would be my choice if I were looking at a newer CC in this size range.

My cousin who lives in Jupiter owns the 1997 Silverhawk 24' (Rob Siddleman) OB Bracketed Version that was debut at the Miami Boat show. I have fished many times on this boat and made several Bahama crossings in snotty seas. The boat handles very similar to my 23' SeaCraft, but with the added weight of the twin 150hp Yamis the bow is much lighter. Porpoising is an issue therefore trimm tabs are a must. The fit and finish appears better than average compared to many production boats on the market. The interior is well thought out with lots of storage space which I like

You can see a glimpse of it in the attached photo. He added a custom hardtop from Blue Water Towers and a Birdsall Tackle Center. There definitly is a striking resemblance to the SeaCraft as I think Mr Potter might ( I said MIGHT) have conferred with Siddleman in it's makeup

ScottM can chime in on this thread as he has also has had some past dealings with the Silverhawk. I can put you in touch with my cousin should you wish to ask more detail or possible take a test ride as you are in the same vicinity

A good freind has one, with an I/O set up. Great workmanship, great finish, great ride. But, the engine box took up almost all of the cockpit space, it really really got in the way. Otherwise, nice rig, maybe better with the bracket setup...
