Default Newbe

Hello, some may know me from Classic Mako, first time over here for a visit. Great website, very informative. The reason for my intrest is I bought a 3 boat lot of retired DNR boats yesterday and one of them was a very unmolested 1976 model 20 center console. It came with a 1981 Mariner 175 in good shape and a good trailer. The gelcoat still shines on this boat, the floor and all the hatches were always covered with snap in carpet. It has a very unique bench seat/cooler combo. Actually slides forward and back on aluminum tracks. The boat has normal wear and tear for a 30 year old hull. Up here in the north country we have a 3 month season. Transom is solid as it has had a aluminum plate on it from Day one(acording to servicing dealer) The live wells dont even smell fishy. Any Ideas what I should ask for this boat?? Thanks dave.

what do you guys think thanks dave

Welcome Aboard Dave.

A little introduction about michigandave. I got to meet him in Destin,Fl. this past May 2005 at the 1st Classic Mako Fundment. he's a pretty sharp guy. Does all his own work.

He dibbles and dabbles in diffrent make's of boat's all the time. Mostly better built boat's. Whaler's, Mako's and now scored a SeaCraft.

One of the guy's at the Fundment in May blew a foot on a 2 thirsty 5 Rude.
Dave was the 1st to jump in and help pull the foot and we found a replacement to get the fellow going again before the weekend was gone.

Thanks Bobby, I have had some interest in the Seacraft from both websites. I understand the Seacraft.com policy for the 25 dollar charge for advertisment. While this didnt start out as a "for sale" its kind of ending up that way. So I will certainly follow thru with that if a Seacraft member gives her a new home. Want2fish, I sent you a PM, dave.

michigan dave,

Please add me to your list of people that are interested in looking at and buying the SeaCraft this fall. Sent you an email and posted a similar message on the Mako site as well.

Hay guys I never bashed the site, I said nobody even said hello,(read up above) it was only after I posted that, that Warthog came over and welcomed me. and since, a couple others have, and I thank you. It really is OK to be friendly. Some even consider it to be a attribute. dave,

Dave, thats the biggest pile of sh*t I heard in a long time. I read threw your posts over at the classicwannabe site, and selling that boat was the only reason you came here.
So why don't you do us all a favor and beat-feet outta here and not come back!

BTW, don't forget to leave the 25 bucks on the way out!
