Welcome to the website. Great looking boat. Like the color. My project MA is the same yellow as yours was ( Federal Yellow?). Will probably change to Aqua Mist. Any interior pic's? Lot's of great info and ideas and advice to be found here.

Looks great. Did you shoot it yourself? I love the color. What paint was it? Awlgrip? Good idea shooting at night, no wind, no contamination of your paint surface.

Belive me you don't want to be shooting at night. your going to need light and every bug for a mile will find your paint job and do touch and go's all over it.

Fact is Bug's just seem to be attracked to White even more so than other color's too.

Year's ago when do side job's painting car's it always seemed they were ready to paint at night. I've shot the 1st coat on them, only to take reducer and rag's and wash it all back off more than a few time's.
even in an enclosed situation, the bug's would hide up in the rafter's as soon as the smell of that paint started getting sprayed around they would come out of the woodwork and do touch and go's. Of corse not all of them would go. they'd do a lot of flopping around.

I second that. When I was a kid my dad and I rolled and tiped a 1969 Chrysler Conqueror white at night and every moth in town decided to land on my boat. Needless to say the second coat was done during the day. Boy I wish I still had that boat.

I would also add that it gets too damp at night ... the moisture that settles in as it cools down at night would destroy the gloss, if not do more damage

Yeah, I sprayed the boat myself with a little help from a buddy of mine. I sprayed it at his work after hours and yes there were a few bugs but it did not pose a problem for us, there was also no wind at all. I didn't have access to a warehouse, but a dry storage marina bay was ok for me, as long a I got some paint on the damn thing so it looked like I made some progress.
The paint is Awl-Craft and the color is called Blue Feather. I brought a color sample to Gold Coast Distributors in Ft Laud and they had it for me that afternoon. Not to bad for an amateur.

I like yor boat Willy and you've done some nice work, "But" I wouldn't give you a plug nickle for the bildge hose you picked.
If it was up to me, that stuff would be outlawed. It make's a good dog toy, but that's about it.

It is segmented on the inside and out. That alone cut's down on your water flow capasity. I've had that stuff fall apart in my hand's. I suggest redoing it. It could save you life and property.
