Default new transom

finally got my 1988 23 walk around in the water (restored) with a new 250 verado .....i had the transom replaced when i had the boat restored this winter and when the engine is tilted up i noticed a little bit of wiggle when i tried to move the engine back and forth...being that i had the new transom put in i feel that there should be no wiggle at all no matter how minor it may be do the fact that little wiggles can become big wiggles over time ..... i think the glass guy needs to stiffen this with some extra glass work ....need your opinions
