The trailer is made by Moody, it needs to be reset for this boat, however it tows great. I really like the design of it too, low to ground, easy launching, heavy galvanising, surge brakes, built strong for heavy inboard type boats. The tires are old, but no big splits or cracks, good tread, axles look great, just some surface, powder rust. I would feel confident trailering the boat up or down the east coast.

As usual the middle floor hatch is de-laminated, upper skin is fine to core with ply or penske. The decks and fuel tank hatch are solid, front deck also. The transom has been painted and repaired at one time and there is a two weep holes half way up. The core sounds and appears solid, there is a good crunch spot on port stern corner, looks like hell, needs some cosmetics, again sounds solid no big cracks. This boat was a beauty in 74, its been painted white over the original red gelcoat, the paint is in fair condition. The batteries were shot, I charged and the motor turns over fine, I took one plug out looks normal. The outdrive looks bad, but just needs sanding and paint. To my knowledge the boat was running fine a year ago, never sunk, has batt isolater, remote oil drain and filter, power steering. The motor appears to have been rebuilt ( permatex on intake and pan). The fuel tanks have good hoses, no gas smell in bilge, probably fine, I've got a 1980 20' CC (Seacraft)the fuel tank is still fine. The out drive needs new rubber, shift boot is split, new H2O pump. If you want to use the boat, I would pump fuel tanks, disconnect fuel lines, pull exhaust manifolds, do a compression check. If the compression is good, put new manifolds on, first crank it up on a gas can, then put everything back on line and on the water, then run it till the diehard 350 croaks. Meanwhile you could plan and dream of restoration, maybe a bracket and four stroke OB. The widows are crazed, gaskets gone, frames in good shape. I have new plugs, fuel filter, some hoses and belts, merc manual, the old spray sheilds, cabin cushions are decent. The aluminum top probably cost a small fortune, nicest one I've seen in awhile, ie. hinged mounting brackets, heavy bracing, and stylishly designed, the guy knew what he was up to. The cabin door is missing, all inside hatch covers there and original. It is what it is, 1974, I've worked on boats since I was 10, it stands on the line of full restoration or fixing up and enjoying for few years. The price is fair and firm, thanks for your interest.

That particualr I/O is not very sought after, My honest opinion I would be asking around 2500 w/trailer. I buy and sell alot of boats, You could find a nice SC in the 10-15k range of this size, and this one would take almost that much to get it in very nice shape.
Just my 2cents worth.
