Default SeaCraft Colors

I was looking on uscomposites website at the pigment colors and noticed that the pigments look like an exact match of hull colors. Just thinking about how seacraft was all about efficiency . . . it dawned on me that they might have used colors right off the color wheel. Any of these colors look familar?

The red looks like my '73 25' Seafari - the yellow next to it like my '77 20' Seafari

The off white at the left hand end of the second (middle) row sure looks like the color of my '76 20 hull.

Well I ordered the red and halyard white pigments and Neutral gelcoat. I also bought the Duratec 904-001 highgloss aditive. We'll see what happens?

Got the red pigment and Halyard white in on Friday. I mixed a little red in with some vinylester resin to glass in the transom hole. It's a pretty close match to the hull color.

I think "Vivid red" is the color. The air dry gel coat I got from Jamestown Dist is very close if not exact. The Vivid Red on the Awlgrip color chart looks right too....
And I just sent MinCoat of FL a HIN for a '98 sailfish and they emailed me the right part num for their gel coat to match it....I haven't tried the SC yet.

That's lookin' real good there Big....
