23 SF T-Top
Being the minimalist that I am, I am thinking strongly of removing the T-top from my '77 23CC. It is an aftermarket hardtop with a steel painted frame with rod holders and radar mount.
Seems like T-tops are all the rage, but has anyone else gone the "naked" route after having a T-top? And is anyone interested in the top once removed? If there is interest I will take a few shots. Just curious.

Re: 23 SF T-Top
A T-Top has a lot more advantages than disadvantages. I fished off a 18 footer for 19 years with just a Bimini top and baked in the summer time unless I put it up. T-Tops don’t get in the way on a 23’ CC and if you ever sell your boat that could be the deal breaker with no top. Plus the 23 just looks Kool with one on.

Re: 23 SF T-Top
I worked in boats with T-tpos most of my career (FMP) and my Seacraft came with a rag top that I enjoy very much. However I don't need the space to mount stuff. Never thought I would like the bimini but now that I have we love it!

Neverending,
If you want to sell it, I bet that it goes pretty fast.

Re: 23 SF T-Top
I don't have a T-Top. No problem with the southern sun up north but nasty weather could influence your decision. Great for Fly rods and casting plugs for 2 or 3 people.-PF

Re: 23 SF T-Top
The top is one of my favorite parts of my 23sf. I was fishing in a down pour earlier this year and while I was driving around smiling nice and cozy I watched other fisherman drive around with frowns on their faces. My brother and I were out a couple weeks ago in the hot sun and we were constantly utilizing the shade provided from the top. If you dont like the looks of the top you can always have a better one made. They are not cheap but they are worth every penny. Right now I'm debating on putting a top on my 20sf. I dont think the T-tops look as good on the 20's as they do on the 23's but i will probably make one for that boat as well.
