Default Classic SeaCraft Fest--Logistic's

This has gotten to be quite a large happening so this thread is only a logistics thread for the few items we could use some help on. First of all the main festival meal Saturday will be provided all tastes will be covered, trust me the Martha Stewart of Yachting & Camping and her able bodied asst will do the cooking/with assitance- Friday and Sunday plan for yourself. So with this covered, we are asking for folks to bring 1 item only, heres what we need:

1. Potato Salad- current indications are for 60, so its a pile, but I know we have some experts out there with a Mom's recipe but Publix is just fine LOL
2.Coleslaw
3.Baked Beans-some Dr Frank

4.Table-nice big one to put food on --covered by Dr Frank

5. 2-large charcoal grills- Webbers would be perfect, if you bring one, I'll even get your beer.

thats it- I wish I could edit longer than 6 hrs, would make this easier

No one should need to do more than 1 item

most other things are covered, lanterns, food, wood, plates cups silverware and stuff, generator, battery charger, camp stoves, shower, bathroom about everything is already in place.

Apparently slips are availible at the Ramada(see other thread for link) for $20 and overnight parking at the Anclote Park ramp is $7 a night and passes can be pre-purchased for you by a memeber bbh57- IM me though.

Call me if you need driving tips, stuck in traffic is no fun. If your flying in call me and I can help steer you to make it easier, as it is not far from Tampa Int. and they have shuttles to New Port Richey.

FAQ Camping/Boating Tips:
1.Stern anchor is required-50' rode at least
2.Thermal Cells- needed it in morning- they work on no-seeum's, also they have a lantern out now, saw it at Sports Auth.
3.Bug Repellent- better safe than sorry- 3-D Ultra Thon or the stuff Capt Chuck posted on the other thread.
4.Tent Stakes- 9" at least-12" steel only found at Sports Auth have looked - but 9" should be OK-6" comes standard but its sand and their marginal
5. Gas and ice are readily availible
6. Only 3 miles to the ramp so leaving stuff in the vehicle in case you need it is fine.
7. Its approx 5.1 miles to the channel headpin for the Ramada, all open water with full moon if at night, pretty awesome.

Alot of thought has gone into making this as easy and pleasurable for everyone, as No Bones, myself, snookerd and Susan have made it a pretty easy camping gig for everyone and nobody is being overwhelmed. So just 1 item if you have it availible. My number is 813-880-0922 my cell is 813 992 5794, its weekend after next so were getting close, we will probably do an RSVP this week as well-BREAKING NEWS- No Bones can actually see his boat

Hope this answers alot of questions, post up if you can help out or call me.

Count me in for enough Bush's baked beans for 12 people. (I'm bringing 4 counting me) I also have a 5'x2' table.

Grills are the biggest thing as I don't have any bigger ones, we need 2 - 1 slow for chicken, dogs and brats and 1 hot for the beef and burgers-plus we have alot to cook.

I have 1 canopy, a couple others would be nice and I'm sure almost everybody has one, but post up if your bringing 1. Again we don't need too many and its one less thing to bring, so once we have 3 say you can leave yours at home and do beans or slaw.

I'm planning on bringing a little Weber gas (10x15) grill/stove we can use and Swabby is bringing a small infared gas grill but he's going fishing and doesn't want to cook.

Both would be tough to slow cook chicken.

We need a couple bigger ones, since so much other stuff is covered maybe if that was all somebody had to bring. We will need to do quite a bit of chicken and I'm getting whole tenderloins so need some bigger stuff. Susan and I enjoy the cooking, plus I'm good at it I can get a grate but its hard to regulate plus the bending over and you need 2 different temps., the burgers, dogs and brats are easy.
