Looks really nice.. The more I read and learn about the Evinrude E-tec technology the more I like them. Less weight and way more torque than any 4-stroker.. Keep us updated on performance numbers after a few sea trials..

I would also like to hear some #'s as my friend has a new '03 Rude DI 225 which is about the same as the ETEC for sale. It would be nice to know how it handles a 23 since someone on here may want to save some bucks on their make over.

Well we tried an aluminum prop for the first run and WOT was approx 5600 to 5800 RPM's, 17p prop. The Garmin plotter registered 43 knots, the boat also has dual tanks, 125 gal main, and a 45 gal aux in the front of the main both capped off for the winter. Pretty decent numbers for 165 gallons of fuel onboard. Let you guys know the numbers when we dial in the stainless prop, i don't like the wholeshot i think the motor is overpowering the prop.

You may want to consider a 4 blade prop, I know when my
20 SF has a full load the hole shot is terrible.
So for those times when we go diving and and have 4 200lb.
plus guys in the boat and 80 gallons of fuel the 4 blade goes on. You lose a little on the top end. But the hole shot is far better. See ya, Ken
