OK. Done a little research here. It sounds good and looks to have all of the right qualities. That is ablative and nice and white! Does anyone have any experience with this bottom paint or any epinions to share?
Thanks PS: When you take the time to sand 10 layers off it worth the time to think about what is going back on right ![]()

I don't have any experience with Petit Vivid but I have been using Shark White from Interlux for almost 10 years and it is OK. It more grey than white and the copper tends to turn the whole bottom above the waterline a faint green before the season is over, underwater it stays white. I don't know if that helps you at all.
You can see it here on the transom before painting in the spring. The side has been wet sanded and the transom not yet. ![]()

How do you troll with these new type outriggers shown here in your picture? Do the brush ends clean the blood off the fish first before they are boated ![]()

I'm trying to take a cue from the Gucci inclined around here. Need to keep a tighter ship this season and the add said self cleaning outriggers so I though I would try it. Onlt $1999.00 a pair $2199.00 If I got the gold tips but I'm not ready for that level of Gucci yet.

Brian,
I have been an exclusive Interlux user. Actually the 2000E is going on for primer. Thats why I wondered about the Vivid. It reads like it goes on true white.

Let us know what you do. My new boat is staying black, shows less junk.
![]() It would be neat if the vivid actually stays white.

I put the vivid white on my 20 a few years ago. it does stay white, but my boat does not live in the water for the entire season, only for days or weeks at a time.
