Its 28 at my house in Houston. All glass and paint work has been put on hold. Trying to figure out how to light the gas logs, never been used.
Hopefully folks up north are wishing us well.

You have my most sincere condolences for the inclement weather in the South. Global warming? An inconvenient cold front, perhaps. It's called Winter. We have 80 something days til Spring. Man up...

Chuck, I'll be back down on the 10th. Please arrange for a little better weather by then.

Finally this single digit weather allows us to venture out on the ice on the St. Lawrence River to get to Mink Island for a visit and a work session. Got gloves?

This cold bull $&!+ is for the birds.
Like Penguins !!

Been hovering around 34 since just after sun down....
Spent the evening freezing my arse off covering up the well
head, putting towels and gloves on all outside faucets,
Shutting off the water supply to the barn and my absent
neighbors campsite next to my house. Had to cover my
Coconut tree from Carla & Skip (Poor thing may not have a chance) Even fired up a heater in the barn, just in case.
Other than that it is just another day in the jungle.

If we get those predicted snow flurries in the AM.
I will try to get some pics.

Costa Rica is starting to look better all the time.

See ya, Ken

No Ag expert but before it gets to late, go spray everything with water, the ice will protect it. Thats the advice I get here in TX. Just wear warm gloves.

Holy crap! What a bunch of GD Mary's! Why don't you try running around in circles flailing your arms up in the air while you figure out what to do....

I got it! Start chopping up the furniture for firewood.

Can't light my gas log..... Oh brother.

Why don't you guys try one of these. There quit comfortable, you could even wear them to work and around town.

I thought our home was going to blow away last evening with gusts that must of been in the 60's. Having just returned from Key West i must say this does suck a bit.

Went to fire up the Suburban this AM and even it was unhappy making every noise I have heard from under the hood. I swear it hear it call me something dirty?

Anyhoo Providence boat show this weekend so at least we can dream of warmer times?
