Default water pressure gauge

where do you hook up a water pressure gauge on a 85 merc. is it that plug that is in the v between the cylinders? on the top of the motor . want to set this up so i know what is going on?

thats where i have my water pressure gauge hooked up. mine is a 1984 200 merc.

on my engine im seeing about 10 psi at about 3k rpm and higher. bigshrimping can tell you more. the psi gauge is good i was able to catch a problem before it was too late.
