Default SeaCraft 20'CC for sale

threads about this boat with many additional photos:

1971 Potter-built SeaCraft 20'CC (18 month redo completed in Summer of 2004) for sale. This boat was professionally redone by Wildfire Marine in Stuart, Florida from the stringers up, only the outer hull and forward step remains original. The above two links cover many of the individual details and I'd be happy to address any additional questions via email or phone. I spent over $40K having this boat redone, it surveyed at $36,000 when completed and I'm asking $27,500 for it now. It currently has 401 hours on the Suzuki 140 4-stroke engine but that number will increase on sunny days here in Florida as I intend to continue using the boat (there are fish that need catching! ). New custom Eisenglass curtains are going to be finished in about ten days. The Loadmaster tandem aluminum trailer that comes with the boat has less than 50 miles on it since new as I only used it to take the boat to the dealer for engine service every 90 engine hours. Fortress anchor, life jackets, and all safety equipment included. This boat needs NOTHING, truly ready to go fishing right now. I had this boat redone with the intent of owning the best 20' SeaCraft possible, not necessarily the cheapest. Floor was replaced and raised 2.25" to make this a true self-bailing boat.

Top speed is 41mph with a stainless three blade 14x20 prop and a full tank of fuel. Mileage at 30mph is 5mpg. Fuel tank has a capacity of 75 gallons.

Clear title in the sellers name and original sales receipts for the engine and trailer.

Boat is currently located in Stuart, Florida.

Please email questions to me directly rather than posting them here as I check my email far more often than I check this site. My email address is mark@markpix.com (please be patient with the spam verification process, it's a one-time event and very easy to contend with). My phone number is 303.718.3005.

No, no other project lined up. I had this boat redone without the notion of ever selling it. Had I thought I would one day sell it, I would have cut a lot of corners to save money. It's about as nice a 20' SeaCraft as you'll find and while the price tag may seem high to some, that price is about $15K less than I have into it. If a person is looking for a cheap SeaCraft 20', this is not the boat for them. However, if anyone is after a Potter era SeaCraft that has been professionally redone (not a backyard wonder), this is a fairly nice example of what can be done if the checkbook is allowed to run rampant.

I've been splitting my time evenly between Florida and Colorado but will now be moving full-time to Colorado. Sadly, the little trout streams in the mountains there simply don't require (or allow for) a boat.

Somebody is going to get a great boat that has been perfect from day 1 and ran as well yesterday as the day I launched it. I simply won't have access to water going forward and so keeping it doesn't make sense. My wife and all my friends seem to think I should keep it and store it in Florida or California but that just doesn't make much sense from my perspective.

To say that I'll miss this boat would be quite an understatement.

Thanks for the note

Alright Mark-What kinda crap are you trying to pull over on us?? You can take a guy out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of a guy...........I went on that tour to Golden, Colorado. It lasted 3 years. You will be back I needed to see the water.........Open water(offshore) is the answer, compadre. To top it off, the 20 going to be sold Someone will be getting a boat that had more details attended to in the restore than any other..........

Snookerd.Your right..15k lost and your realy looking at selling your boat with a much bigger lost, with this market-- you will end up trying to give her away at the price she will sell at.
If you can stick with a price either you get the cash or the boat,-- dont let anyone steal her from you.

Gotta be one of, if not the nicest 20'ers I've seen. Since the first day I was on this sight, I drooled over the job you did with that rig. Whoever get's it will have a true head turner. I only wish it was going to be me. My girls and I miss my '73-20'er so much
Good luck out West.

Tell ya what...... I just built a 30'X90' boat/trailer storage on the side of my house complete with canopies, water, lights, gated, etc. I will store your Seacraft no charge. All we'd need to write into the arrangement is I'm aloud to meticulously maintain it and put 40-60 hrs on it per yr. Then you'd have your boat when you come to visit. Hell, you can even use my truck to pull it when you're in FL
