Default anyone have a Merc 2.4L or 2.5L powerhead

I have a friend of a friend that is looking for a Mercury 2.4L or 2.5L complete powerhead with good compression.

If you know of someone who is honest and is looking to sell, please let me know.

Check your email!! I have a 2.5L Mariner Magnum III (same as 150 XR6) . . . that I'm currently rebuilding for fun. I'd be willing to sell just the powerhead to someone. If they can wait until May I can deliver to MA or even install. I may have a decent 2.4L powerhead soon. Where is the person located?

If they want a 2.0L . . . I have a 1994 and a 1981 ready to go.

Tim, did you speak with Trent in PA? I gave him your contact info...he is the one looking for a 2.4L or 2.5L.

I am heading down there on Saturday to pick up the trailer.

Ed . . . I talked to him. Nice guy . . . I actually bought 3 more motors this week in MA. One is a 1996 200 2.5L motor and he's really interested in that powerhead . . . so it looks like we might have a deal. Thanks again!! I'll be in touch through email. Good luck with your travels!!
