Default Two day Back to Back Fishing trips with Pictures

These are a few of the highlights on our two day back to back trips out of Miami. Went 2 for 4 on Sailfish 5 Dolphin, and a few Golden tiles a couple were good size. We also cough a lot of other fish not worth mentioning.

While we have some pretty good tile fishing up here in NJ (see below picture), it is a 80+ mile ride for us to the canyons where they live. I can't believe that you can get them within sight of the land. Very neat.

Hi Peter B;

Today I left the Tile fish grounds and left my last spot on the gps to mark the exact distance. Turned out to be 8.5 miles from my gps spot to the dock. I clocked 40 total miles on my trip today. First stop was for live bait then where we got the Sails, than some dolphin headed to the Tile fish spot and then back home.

Hi Strick;

Actually I never saw it myself just heard of it and the pictures and story from friends and on the web. For all the fish stock bad stories our south Florida Sailfish population has increased through out the years. I don’t even target them much any more and still catch at least a dozen or two each year. When I use to target them we could have as much as 20 sails on in a day. I use to keep them they are a good eating fish but now a days “fishing etiquette” says through them back, you can keep one a day and if my freezer ever got empty I just might invite one home for dinner.

Nice Ken!
Capt Ray Rosher on the Get Lit released 29 sails on day 2, 3 years ago during The Silver Sailfish Derby.
Nice piece on Ship Shape too.
Why do my friends want to watch football?

Hi gofastsandman;

I noticed Ship Shape has been running the 30 minute programs again. I didn’t bother watching it again although I tape all their episodes. I guess they have been running one of my commercial spots at the end again. I get stopped by guys all the time that recognize me from those commercials. Its kind of nice meeting new people that way.

I have the commercial video on my Facebook.com homepage with a lot of my SeaCraft and fishing pictures. If any is interested in looking or being on of my friends on this sight I use it to up load pictures on the web and talk to some friends.
