Default Tsunami foldable ladder

Awhile ago I posted about wanting an able craftsman with some time to help design or re-design a foldable ladder to replace the ones that originally came with the 23' Tsunami - the one that helps you get from cabin to foredeck quick.

I had two of these ladders - over time, both cracked in the same spot due to a manufact design flaw. I weigh 185 lbs so that's not it - well I should weigh 170, but that's another story of beer, food, etc....

So, a few takers tried and I mailed my original ladder to them as a template and it came back to me - " too costly, couldn't be repaired " etc. I appreciated the efforts.

I then sent it to someone who said he'd take a look. And, he just blew the doors off of it. He thought-out, designed, and built the most perfect, beautiful foldable ladder that I could have imagined ( actually, my skill set limitations doesn't allow me to imagine such a design - nor build it )!

I'll attach a picture of it - as a picture is worth 1000 words. I will ask his permission first, but I think he would more than gladly want to share the design. Maybe he'll chime in ?.

It's made of wood, it's about as light as the original and I think that it will last a looong time...
