Default Yamaha style semi cleavers for Mercury inline 6

Happy Independence Day y'all give you salutations today as tomorrow I may go ramp watching for entertainment...

I'm running a 13.25 x 17 Black Max on a 115 I-6 on the Seafari. Nice lift, holeshot, and top end, but still about 500 low on rpm. I'm concerned that if I drop to a 15 pitch to gain RPM I'll lose cruise efficiency.

Has anyone run a Yamaha style semi-cleaver on these motors/boats. I'm thinking less blade and straight leading edge may be just a bit easier to turn than a Black Max & give me a little more rpm while staying with the 17 pitch. It's my understanding that this blade should also provide plenty of stern lift. The SCD models from PowerTech look very appealing, as do those yamaha black steel and SW series. Any experience or opinions on this logic?
