Seavette at Bowlegs
The first Sat in June the Billy Bowlegs event takes place in Fort Walton, Fl. It's a big party on the water. Any how I ran the boat from Pascagoula, Ms to Destin, Fl. and stayed for 4 days. It's about a 130 mile trip one way and the old boat ran flawlessly the whole time that we were down there. I just thought that I would share a few pics with you all.
Here's the pizza man on the PWC. The last few was at crab island, which is just North of the Destin brige.

Re: Seavette at Bowlegs
Yep, I was last there in '07. Insanity on the water. I came in as a volunteer CAP pilot for the Air Force, which activates it's ParaRescue team for the event. We got to fly over the party for hours at a time looking for people who needed help. (There are LOTS)
Then I went and launched the my 17' Carolina Skiff and went fishing - offshore.

Re: Seavette at Bowlegs
Y`ALL ROCK!!!
130 miles and I`m afraid to blast over to West End and hit the Corner for Yellowfin. I made my first go-cart outta 2x4`s and plywood scraps I pirated from unsuspecting local building sites when I was ten. Had a string for a throttle, steered with your feet, and no brakes. All my shoes had 45 deg. angles on the heels. Everyone called me Flintstone. I may have been born in Boston , but there`s a lotta rebel in my veins. Love the Seavette. How did you seal the masters autograph? GFS |

Re: Seavette at Bowlegs
Thanks Steve I appreciate it. The interior is now completely gutted and I don't think it's going to be a real fun job to redo.

Hey can you do me a favor and send me some detailed pic's of your interior? I've brought mine out of the moth ball's and started back to work on'er. I've just about got the interior gutted out and need some idea's on how to put it back. Quote:
