Default 1975 Seacraft 18 CC

Hey all. Just bought my first Seacraft and stumbled onto this site. I'm in coastal NC. I'll get pictures on later. I've been in many boats, but, none compare to the Seacraft. Happy to be part of the group.

Welcome, Captain!

Now don't be too bashful. The only stupid questions are the ones not asked or the ones asked for the umteen millionth time.

A suggestion that I ended up finding out for self was, learn to use the search features and when you think you know what you would like to do to your boat, do a search- it's better than aspirin for avoiding headaches or repeating someone else's mistake!

You'll see I'm not too bashful. My baby is all original except the power, so, I don't plan on any changes anytime soon. I'm uncovering it this weekend to work on the teak and go fishing, so, I'll have pictures up soon.

I'm in Edenton. The Albemarle Sound is my playground. I fish the Outer Banks from time to time, but, haven't had the chance to take the SC down there yet.

Edenton is a NICE town! Have stayed at the Trestle House several times! I love how the folks there got together to keep out Wal-mart to keep it from killing the downtown! I hope that success continues - been about 8 years since I've been there.

Tried to convince my wife we should at least get a summer place there, but probably will have to get daughter to move there first! Lots of water for boat testing there, and I'm sure the Albemarle Sound can kick up enough for some good rough water trials!
