Default SeaCraft Scepter - Mobile,Al - Info???

I spotted this 23 SeaCraft Scepter on D.I.P. in Mobile, Al. does anyone here know anything about it? It's in a locked storage yard. Look likes the motor is damaged.. maybe even burnt. May be interested at the right price

I have seen this boat myself and was wondering the same thing. I know that it has been there a loooong time.

I believe that boat has been sitting in that spot for at least 7-8-9 years that I can remember. Periodically, maybe every few years it looks like a little more engine work is done. I don't think it would be any harder to get than to call the company and see if the guy is still paying storage. It has sat there for so long it may be very upside down. I have noticed it too, but don't want another project.

I don't need another project either.. but would hate to see it get haul off to the scrap yard . I will do some investigating to see what I can find out.

Thanks for the input!

Haven't had a chance to get back over there. Got it on my list of things to do, but I have to work out of town most of this week

It's amazing how many Classic SeaCrafts you can spot if you keep your eyes open.... I know of at least 4 others close by (two Scepters in bad shape & two 23 CC ready to fish)..
