Re: fuel disposal
I picked up a 55 gal HDPE drum from a local feed store and drained my tanks by gravity. Our county has a toxic waste disposal site that accepts stale gas. Yours might too. If it's gone to varnish, don't even think about running it through an engine. I made the mistake of trying to burn some in my generator and had to pull the engine apart to get the valves unstuck. What a mess.

Re: fuel disposal
After Moving Way up North (Melbourne,Fl) I had 50 Gal. of gas for about 2+ years. It had Oil, Additive etc mixed. It burned, smelled good (No Varnish) etc.Couldn't find a way or Place to get rid of it.. Placed a ad on Craigslist & explained everything, Fellow showed up w/ containers for Half next few days came & got the Rest. He said the size of His Tank Mixed He didn't care.. Easiest I've found Just let em' Know it is Old. (Was Not Ethanol). Good Luck!

Re: fuel disposal
I used up some 2 year old gas in my ole Dodge truck.
Dumped 6 gallons at time in when I would go to fill up.. It even had TCW 2 or 3 in it... Trucks valves had never been cleaner! This was many years ago when the truck had 50,000 miles on it. Today she has 285,000 and still going strong. See ya, Ken

Re: fuel disposal
WWP2, if I were u, I'd invest in a cheap electric fuel pump...pump it out and run 5-6 gallons in my truck...thats what I normally do with old fuel.....mixing it with a fresh tank. If you dont want to do that...I'll run up that way sometime and pump it out and burn it for ya! Let me know what you think.

Re: fuel disposal
Previous to my restoration,my Tsunami sat in a field for six years with about 45 gallons of gas in the tank
We siphoned it out and guys at work put it in their pickup trucks and tractors. None of them had any problems with it.They were more than happy to get free gasoline. I,on the other hand didn't dare try it.I was just happy to get rid of it.
