bracket and transom looks a little odd to me but it seems like a good deal do your home work and a survey is money well spent

It looks like he added a bracket without closing in the transom. If thats a fairly low hour motor that has been well maintained, the hull looks to be in good shape and a good price. But, get a survey.

Tooslow I would be worried about that open transom taking in water. Seacrafts are strern heavy and that boats got a small chambered bracket hanging off the back. Id be willing to bet that boat gets water in the stern coming off plane. If the rest of the boat is in good shape then maybe but plan on adressing that transom.

I like mine, a LOT!! Thats a good price if in decent shape. You will change things in the future anyway and it helps to run one for a while and prioritize the changes. Good luck with the purchase.

very true...thanks for all the input! the main issue i was concerned about was the stringers and the engine! the floors are solid.
