Hows the ride and performance of the 23' Septre ?

Found one in amazing condition a few years ago when it didn't matter.
I understand the ride is very good. What's the story ? Thanks

Have had two: one with a 250 Johnson ran great, another with twin 140's, it was a great boat and fun to run. Also run another that had a 300 Merc best motor for the boat and another with a 300 ETEC, good motor but not like the Merc.

I have a 1974 23' Tsunami/Sceptre,(it's an I/O),and It's an Awesome!! riding boat.
It really likes a a head sea and rides beautifully in the steep closely spaced wave patterns that are common on the Great lakes where I fish.
It's also pretty stable while trolling in a beam sea,far better than many traditional deep vee boats I've been on.
The variable degree deadrise of the hull design seems to create a boat with a ride and handling charactaristics superior to many others in that size range.
It handles all situations extremely well.

Mr. Fishingtime, not to be a smart ass (no response please by all the CSC guys on that comment), however that's why there is a loyal SeaCraft following and a Classic Seacraft web site after 40 years. It's how the SeaCrafts were designed, built, how they ride, etc. that makes them what they are. I'm not sure, might be wrong though, I don't remember ever seeing a "Classic Bayliner" web site. Might have missed it.
