Seems crazy . . . but that's how much you would have to pay me to do another Seacraft rehab
![]() Looks like Metan is going to have a "orange county choppers show" . . . hopefully it'll boost the value of your 23 seacraft ![]() The customers he has don't care about price . . . The more expensive the restore . . . the more bragging rights you have. Seriously . . . I'm sure the ad is just a publicity stunt to get you talking about Metan Marine and set your expectation high. You get what you pay for right? hahahaha. $175,000 is a little steep, but good for him if he can find someone that pays that price. Last edited by Bigshrimpin; 01-06-2012 at 06:04 PM. |

I guess Metan has developed a high end clientele. Not a bad gig if you do nice work and have a client base with more money than patience for imperfection. Dave

Csc's are nice and all, and you can slather it with all the best but thats ridiculous. If someone can and wants to lay down the money on that, more power to them.

I also called RR boats to get the real story on the cost of this 20 that I linked on to from THT. http://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-...formation.html The price was 22,000 and did not include motor, hardware, or electrical. No electronics either. Just a completed but painted fiberglass boat and the company said they made very little money on it. Others thought he got a completed boat for that price.? the owner supplied the boat and I believe he might have had a few things like trim tabs and fuel tank included in the cost. Like others have said. I am done after the 20 I am doing now. No more. There are nights I wake up with dreams or night mares? I am not sure which? because of the 20 sea craft I am doing now. |
