Default 1979 Scepter 23 value???

So I'm Picking up this boat for the engine and want to know the value of the boat for resale I'm not trying to make a killing but want a fair price I haven't Physically checked it out this isa premature assumption but what I'm told the boat is very solid and clean will not be selling it with a engine but will have a trailer included
the outdrive thats on it is a low hour diesel x drive bravo and a new transom assembly
So be honest with out seing it what do you think?

Hull $2000
Tower $1500
Outdrive $500
Trailer $1000

Total Rig = $4,500 - 5,000

There is a 23 CC with a bracket and trailer on the cape - just a hull, no rigging- and it isn't isn't moving at $5k asking price. I don't know the relative value of a CC versus Sceptre, but that's a data point.

This boat is completly rigged just no engine
what do you think it would sell for with a 350 in it?

I paid $1,000 for my 1974 Tsunami 23' and trailer, and it needed a total restore. All the core was rotted, transom was toast, outdrive was no good, and the 351 ford engine was shot.
I thought it was a bargain at that,as the trailer was in great shape.

Your hull is certainly much nicer, and worth more.I wouldn't give it away too cheap.I think 2 grand is on the low side, even for the hull only.
The cuddy models & especially I/O's like the sceptres/Tsunamis are worth more up north on places like the great lakes.

Maybe Floorboy will make another road trip.C'mon Rod, Minnesota to florida it's not that! bad.
