Default Viewing pics

My Pics are BMP format, i think some people dont support BMP files because some can see them and some can't. I have no idea how to change it sorry.

The answer to "I can't see the pictures."

I just looked it up at Microsoft and it is probably because yur verision of windows or explorer is not set to handle .bmp files. It is an older image format and creates exceptionally large files. Anyways, I copied and pasted them into a blank word document and , Shizaam, there tey were!

Hiliner, that is one nice looking boat begging to be reconned. Nice catch and good luck! It should turn out great.

Thanks Lew, It was worth the road trip for sure. Got the engine, gimble and drive out today. Only had a couple hours to tinker on it. She's pretty original as far as i can tell. I hate to but looks like i'm going to have to reconstruct the engine compartment and cover to support a 4.3 V-6. The original compartment and cover are in good shape. I'll try to incorperate the cover being it has the Seacraft protrusion on the front of it. We'll see. The stringers in the engine compatment are in good shape/solid, thats good news. Can't say that for the transom, haha.

Well, Bushwacker Helped ID this rig and figured out it's older than a 78, No transom#s so we know it's pre 73. transome hull #S were required late 72. Has an inside model / serial tag but it's difficult to see. Goinng to try with a mag glass tomorrow and see if i can make it out. The model says 20 and some letters. How many digits in the serial # should there be?

Default Pics

Can't make out the model derial #s pre Hull# required date Nov. 1972. Model says it looks like 20 CIO and the serial says 20 7 is all i can see. Can anyone tell by the pics if it's a two or four stringer hull? Potter or Moesly? Date is wrong on camera, These are JPEG pics so hopefully Lew and others can see the pics now.

Default Bow rail?

Was this the base for the original bow rail ? The pocket faces forward and there's one port and starb. I understand the Mosely had 8 stanchions and Potters' had only 6. Wodering if the base to the top rail were in different locations between the Moesly and Potter hulls? Might help me determine which one i have if these are bow rail bases> My bow rail only has 4 stanchions so it's been altered.

Default Update

Well i did figure out it had the 8 Stanchion bow rail. After carefull inspection i can see where the original stanchions were located and repaired patched. The outline of the holes are cracked where the screws were filled. So In theory it may make it a Moesly hull? What year did Potter take over?
