Haven't seen bluewater in 5 years. Taking the Sceptre 50 miles offshore. Replaced floor, new 160g tank, twin 150 oceanrunners, rebuilt carbs, fuel pumps, shift boxes and water pumps. All new fuel lines and water seperators. New gps and VHF. Bracket on boat. Floscan working(16gph cruise). I need an epirb. I just need triple checking and extra heads always help. Thankyou. Of course rods and cold ones! New wiring included also along with bilge pump.(1)

Don't know which coast your leaving from, but consider a life raft, sat phone, and SSB radio. Epirb without a doubt.

No, trolling small lures and possibly live bait if I can find it. Water temp in the high 60's by now. Will go out in tandem first time also. Inflatables will be on boat. I like nice jackets also. Float plan? Definitely north! Really, I didn't mention ALL the details but this time of year typically there are other boats close.
Blackfin tuna. Worse case fuel burn should be 1.0 mpg. I will add that second bilge though. I did install a 1500gph pump but if one were to fail.... |

In your float plan list what type of life raft you have.
Also some solar blankets (thin metallic looking ones that reflect your body heat in) and some water purification straws (I believe the are usually good for about 200 gallons, but for salt its only like 10-20). |
