Default How to clean rod holder inserts?

Does anyone have a good way to clean the rod holder inserts? Mine are yellow and look rough.

A couple time a year, the rub-rail gets a wipe off with acetone. Takes off all stains and dock marks, works beautifully on dull finished plastic
