Default Briguy's break in numbers 300 Suzuki 23CC with bracket.

I took my 23 to International Marine in Boynton Beach. Mike hooked me
up with a 2016 white DF 300 Lean Burn. Great sale and service.
Brian at Sarasota Lune X took care of my sadly chipped bracket. He used his Marine
650 Line X product with Kevlar. Looks sweet.

Here are my preliminary numbers. Against a 2 KT tide in Manatee river.
2 men. Radar and radar arch, 3/4 fuel.

Rpm KTS. MPH. GPH. MPG

3500. 25.1. 28.9. 7.9. 3.65

3750. 26.6. 30.6. 9.19. 3.32

4000. 29.6. 34.1. 10.12. 3.36

4250. 31.5. 38.9. 12.40 2.95

4500. 33.8. 39. 13.40. 2.90

Top speed 44.00 kts at 5900 RPM's. Running the other way hit 45.5 kts.
Suzuki 3x16x20" prop.

I don't know how to post multiple photos from my phone at once.
Also not sure how to flip them.

For comparison my Twin 115 Suzuki's ran 25.5 kts at
4000 RPM's burning 10.5 GPH for 2.8 mpg and topped at
38.5 to 39 kts. at 5900.

Did you and Danny get a BOGO deal on these Zukes?? Those are good numbers at the normal 4000 rpm cruising speed!

Good Deal! How does the boat feel with the single compared to the twins?

The power is effortless. More torque out of the hole.
Less squat with 260lbs off the rear. Even at 2900 I'm on
plane an right now I've got no tabs installed. Oh and the
motor is really, really quiet right up to wot.

52 mph is pretty sweet too!
